Wexford Low Energy Homes
Wexford Low Energy Homes is the residential homes wing of our construction company Adamar Developments LTD. (est. 1994) which we have developed over the years, gathering all our experience to bring you your first, or forever home.
A family run company, both directors, Dan & Mary Morrissey, feel very strongly that their product will stand as a testament to time as their starter homes can evolve seamlessly throughout the family's lifetime to become a comfortable home for twilight years, ending the stressful need to sell your home in order to downsize once the family have 'flown the coop'.
Joined now by their sons Jack, B.Sc. (Construction Management) and Mike, B.Sc. (Construction Management & Engineering), they bring new energy and vision to the company, combined with Dan and Mary’s passion, skill and experience it’s a winning combination.

Sustaining the Environment
As our name suggests, our focus is very much around building homes that are smart, need less energy to run and so costs less to run too. And, of course, they also have a strong positive impact on the environment too. All our homes are nZEB (near Zero Energy Building) Homes which are specifically designed for use in our varied climatic conditions

BER A2 Rating All our homes come with a BER Rating of A2 as standard. This rating is a testament to the high standards and innovative design features we include in all of our low energy homes. With an A2 rating, this home will not only save its residents money on their energy bills, but also contribute to a more sustainable future. The advanced insulation and air-tight construction techniques used in the building process along with superior heating systems result in a comfortable, healthy living environment for its residents. We are proud to achieve such high ratings and continue to strive for excellence in all of our homes. Recently, one of our homes in Wexford was assessed and achieved a BER A1 energy rating, with just the addition of some PV solar panels, making it one of the most energy-efficient homes in the country. All homes in our developments have the potential to reach this BER A1 rating with the addition of PV Solar panels (which may be partly funded through a SEAI Grant).
Grant Air to Water Heating System At Wexford Low Energy Homes we sought the expertise of the leading air to water heating engineers in the country – Grant Engineering. Working with them to ensure a perfect fit with our homes we are thrilled to use the Grant A+++ Aerona3 R32 air to water air source heat pump. Not only do they have an ErP rating of A+++, they also have a significantly lower Global Warming Potential and have a been awarded the international Quiet Mark so won’t disturb while they keep you at the perfect temperature. Their systems work perfectly as the seasons change ensuring the optimum temperature all year round. All this technology reduces energy consumption, is a sustainable alternative and offers significant cost savings compared to other systems.
Insulation The homes are not just insulated, they are super-insulated using the most modern thermal materials in the build construction and using the most efficient window system. These features, combined with high levels of air-tightness and demand control ventilation, effectively wrap the house around, above and below in a tea-cosy! You and your family will be kept in a bubble at the perfect temperature.
